Founded by scholars who lived the experience — VSP exists to make world-class education accessible to every ambitious student from West Africa.
Our Mission
The Victory Scholars Program (VSP) is committed to bridging this gap by empowering talented students to pursue graduate studies in the United States, regardless of their financial background. We support driven individuals who aspire to enter the STEM field, helping them turn their academic dreams into reality. Notably, applicants do not need a STEM-related undergraduate degree to qualify for a STEM-designated master's program through our initiative.

Our Story
Our History
Victory Scholars Program was founded over a decade ago by a group of West African graduates who had navigated the complex, often overwhelming process of studying abroad — largely without guidance. Having experienced the anxiety of university shortlisting, the confusion of visa applications, and the challenge of settling into a foreign country alone, they built VSP to be the resource they wished they had.
What started as informal advising sessions for friends and classmates quickly grew into a structured programme as word spread of successful placements at MIT, Harvard, Stanford, and other world-leading institutions. Families across Africa and beyond began trusting VSP with their children's futures.
Today, VSP has placed over 500 students at more than 50 partner universities across 5 countries. Our alumni work at organisations like Google, the World Bank, Goldman Sachs, and the United Nations. They mentor the next generation of VSP students and champion educational equity in their communities. The mission that started in a small office has become a movement — and we're just getting started.
